DIY Dollhouse

Published by at 8:34 pm under Really Handmade

It’s done! The wood planks are from Daiso, and the “wallpaper” is scrapbooking paper from Made With Love. The furniture was assembled and painted by my sis-in-law and her boys some years ago, as a birthday present to Layla. (POPULAR stocks them and they’re not pricey, but they’re on the flimsy side so you’ll have to handle the pieces with care.)

Next step: To make furniture and add more personal touches. I’m liking the cosy house here, as well as this Frida Kahlo-inspired creation.

Those dollhouses are incredible!! That Frida Kahlo one is amazing. Wonder what a Salvador Dali dollhouse would look like? Hmm…

Yeah! I saw it many years ago and it still blows me away. Wish I could live in it!

*grin* Salvador Dali house… warped clocks, for one!

I love your version! :) The patterned paper does make it look so pretty!

Hey Jus, thank you, that’s so sweet of you! :o) I wish they made wallpaper like scrapbooking paper!
