How To Have A Kid-Safe Colour Fight

When I saw these holi pictures, it occurred to me that my coloured powders were good for a five-minute sprinkling at best. I had to improvise, and fast.

Our final list of ingredients for the colour fight:
* Turmeric powder
* Coriander powder
* Pink custard powder
* Ketchup
* Flour
* Washable kiddy paint
* Holi colours

And here’s what you get when you mix it all up with some very brave people:

    Haha! You have some really brave people. Looks like real fun!

    It was! We’re talking about doing this again next year–with a good supply of genuine Holi powder!

    Looks like it was a hit with both kiddos and grown ups! Just out of curiosity … what did the concoction smell like?

    Urm… having turmeric thrown in your face is an experience, one that stings! I couldn’t smell anything after that.
